Returns, Exchanges, Orders


Hunter and Beau does not provide refunds on goods due to change of mind so please choose carefully. 

If your product is not of acceptable quality, is not fit for its purpose or is different from its description, then you may be eligible for a refund or exchange.


We accept returns of garments for an alternate size or style (if available) or for a Hunter and Beau credit note, provided:

  • Your garment(s) must be in unworn condition and remain new with tags and in original packaging.
  • The garment(s) is returned within 14 days (for New Zealand returns) or 21 days (for international returns).
  • Proof of purchase can be provided.

For an exchange, please let us know your exchange preference. If there is a difference in cost, you will be contacted via email. If an alternate style or size is not available, we will provide a Hunter and Beau credit note or we may, in our sole discretion, choose to provide a refund to you.

Returns in general

Shipping costs associated with returning any item/s to us will be at your cost. Please note Hunter and Beau is not responsible or accountable for the loss of garments being returned and we recommend getting your return tracked. For international orders, we will not accept liability for any customs duties or taxes that may be payable in relation to the order or its return.

When returning an online purchase, the original delivery charges will not be refunded.

Please take care when placing your order as orders are final and cannot be cancelled. 

If your order contains both pre-order items and in-stock items, the order will be held until the pre-ordered item/s arrive and then your order will be shipped together. Please let us know if you would like to spilt your order and have the in-stock item/s sent immediately. You will be required to pay any extra shipping fees if we ship item/s separately. 

Sale items

Sale items are final sale. Sale items cannot be returned or exchanged so please select carefully.

Faulty items

If you receive a faulty item, please email us at with photos, your order number and details of the fault and we will endeavour to arrange a replacement or a refund for you as quickly as possible after appropriate inspection and confirmation by us that the item is not of acceptable quality or reasonably fit for purpose, as required by law.

Please be aware that returns will not be accepted if:

  • No proof of purchase can be provided.
  • The care instructions have not been followed correctly. 
  • The fault has been caused due to lack of care for the item.

We are committed to complying with all obligations under consumer law. Any rights you have under this policy in relation to your Hunter and Beau garment are additional to any rights you may have under applicable New Zealand consumer laws.
